This Arts and Crafts building, the former residence of the early 20th century actor William Gillette, was converted by the State of Connecticut into a museum. ABC was retained as preservation consultant for the Interior and Exterior Restoration. This project received the Connecticut Preservation Society Award.

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church
VBA was retained to design a new church replacing the temporary structure used by the congregation. The underlying challenge was to provide a building suitable for worship and yet modest in cost. All aspects including form, size, materials, and finishes were carefully considered in order to achieve a cost effective yet appropriately ceremonial space.
Fordham Alumni House
The Alumni House is a small building built in 1840 that is currently used as a campus cafe. Years of neglect and a fire left the building in poor condition. Fordham Keating Hall Auditorium
VBA was retained to renovate the Fordham University Keating Hall Auditorium. The project included the complete restoration of the wood paneling, coffered ceiling, stained glass windows, and terrazzo floor. Yale Bowl Restoration
VBA was retained to design a new Home Team Building and Entry Plaza for the Yale Bowl. The proposed Stadium improvements also included a new scorboard, new promenade seaating and skyboxes. A new ticket booth, concession stand and “Wall of Fame” were also designed.
Park Slope Library
The Park Slope Library is one of Brooklyn’s finest Carnegie Libraries. VBA created a Master Plan that could guide the Library through different phases of interior and exterior restoration. The first phase to be completed includes a new ADA entrance bridge, ADA elevator, and restoration of the exterior Moat wall.
Inwood House
VBA was asked to completely renovate the federally funded Inwood House: The Family Learning Center provides comprehensive residential care for pregnant foster teens and learning opportunities for the entire family.
