The Southold Free Library is an historic bank building that had previously been converted into a Library. The Library was in dire need of renovation and reorganization. VBA provided full services from programming to construction documents. The 49 seat Community Room was renovated with new projection screen and acoustic finishes. It will be used for movie screenings, performances, and other programs. A new teen room was created with digital gaming and a computer lab. The history room was moved to the ground floor for better access. New librarian’s desks and bookcases with integrated technology were designed. All new lighting and finishes were provided throughout the Library.
